About Me

Hi, I’m Lydia and I’m an artist based in Wales. In 2020 I achieved a BA(hons) in Photography but have since preferred creating via other art mediums. I mostly enjoy experimenting with painting, drawing and digital art, and I connect with each medium differently.

As an adult I have been diagnosed with depression, autism and fibromyalgia, which all have their individual challenges. Because of this, creating art from the comfort and safety of my home enables my freedom of expression. I grow through using the techniques I’ve learned to create pieces inspired by my own feelings and imagination. Despite the difficulties I experience, art and creativity are the consistent things I can always connect with. Creating keeps me grounded and optimistic - art is limitless and powerful so, for me, it’s therapeutic and beneficial in many ways.
